From its iconic City of London address, Momenta provides consultancy services to some of the UK’s largest banks, financial institutions and legal firms. Such a client list calls for an equally impressive headquarters for welcoming visitors, as well as a flexible working space for the demanding schedules of its people. For their exciting new office in Tower 42, we created a contemporary, adaptable workplace that’s built for the future.
Richard Carswell,
Group Financial Controller, Momenta
Momenta’s values of professionalism, collaboration and openness informed our every design decision. Our starting point was to maximise the space’s fantastic city views and abundance of natural light, and inject a sense of openness throughout the interior design with an intelligent use of the space that sought to foster collaboration.
With transparency and communication both key to the company’s success, our workplace design opens up the space for guests and employees alike. As well as choosing sleek, contemporary finishes and fittings, the main workspace was made open-plan and punctuated with pops of colour and illustrations of London’s cityscape, while a selection of private meeting spaces scattered throughout the floor feature comfortable furniture and drinks fridges. And while it is too often the norm to find the staff kitchen in an interior, windowless room, here it inhabits a prime, light-filled corner location with full-height windows, with a counter for grabbing a quick bite or holding an ad hoc meeting.
